A Message from the Head

Watershed wants to do what it thinks best for the education of its enrolled students. In an age of economic hardships, the school remains dedicated to an all-round education of body, mind and spirit.

This dedication is only possible because Watershed remains truly committed to its vision. Financially contributions help ensure that this vision remains a reality.

Owls - former students, will scarcely need to be reminded that all past generations of students have benefited from the generosity of literally hundreds of benefactors who helped make Watershed College what it is today. The bursaries and scholarships, without which many students could not have come to Watershed, have been paid from the many showing kindness and good will. Buildings too have been funded by Trust Funds. Sarah's Legacy, under Spirituality, whose parents had decided to spend their late daughter's estate on a chapel, set amongst the Blue-gum trees in the Campus grounds, is perhaps the most notable examples, but benefaction is a continuing process.

As part of our Silver celebrations - Watershed will be in its 25th year of existence in 2011, I have put into place, a staff committee of volunteers, chaired by Mrs Banda, to work on a programme for the year. The target is to raise funds enough to build a state-of-the-art school hall! They will soon publish the calendar of events for the whole year, but like i said above, benefaction is a continuing process.
